On July 11th we participated in the first of two tours of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant. We met at the PG&E Education Center for an initial briefing and Q&A session. This was followed by a 3hr tour of the facility. We were escorted to various locations across the 750-acre property in PG&E provided vans. Our first stop was the Training and Simulation Center for an extended discussion of plant operations and safety procedures.
